DO YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR ART ONLINE?
I was always told that as an artist I would starve, that I should find another job and paint in my spare time. All those people will eat their words today. I LIVE OFF ART.
Gallery owners, collectors, and artists agree that a successful artist sells 10 to 20 works a year. In 2018, I started selling my art online and made 3 sales. In 2019, 19 works left my studio. In 2020, sales increased and 73 works found their collectors. In 2021, I sold 226. In 2022, 134 pieces left my studio, including paintings, drawings, and also Cryptoart NFTs. Although the number of works is somewhat smaller, my revenue tripled. There have been months in 2023 where 1 to 2 works have been sold each day. How I achieved this is what I will tell you here.
You might find courses out there (very few, as I’ve found) that want to teach you how to sell your work online, but they aren’t even artists. And the worst part; they don’t sell their art online. In my case, it’s the exact opposite. Check it out yourself by looking at my social networks and my website.
Thanks to the experience accumulated over all these years, I can give you tools, strategies, and advice so you can make a living from your art. Your life can completely change.
My Book
With the fun, irreverent, and always controversial style characteristic of his YouTube channel videos, Antonio García Villarán reviews in this book the different artistic movements and the works of the great masters to question the established canons when it comes to valuing art.
Using the concept Hamparte (created by himself from the words “hampa” and “arte”) as a guiding thread, he critically examines the validity of current criteria for elevating Spanish authors such as Dalí, Miró, or Chillida, and international ones like Yoko Ono, Damien Hirst, or Jeff Koons.
